BTC Futures (symbol GFBTF) is a cash-settled BTC futures product offered by GFO-X. It provides monthly and quarterly expiries, block-trade access, institutional-grade pre-trade risk-management tools, FIX drop copy, standardized contract specifications, and liquidity-provider access. The contracts reference UK/BMR-compliant indices developed with Coin Metrics and administered by BITA, and are centrally cleared through LCH DigitalAssetClear using a standardized VaR margin model and segregated default fund. Cash settlement avoids custody of the underlying cryptocurrency.
