Celo is an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain built on the OP Stack, using EigenDA v2 for data availability and Succinct SP1 zkEVM for zero-knowledge proof verification. Transactions settle to Ethereum with one-block finality and sub-cent fees, while fee abstraction allows gas payment in supported ERC-20 tokens. The network supports stablecoin payments, DeFi, and AI agent infrastructure for high-frequency real-world transactions.
