Description
Chainlink VRF (Verifiable Random Function) is a provably fair and verifiable random number generator for smart contracts. It generates random values with cryptographic proofs that are published and verified onchain before consuming applications can use them, helping prevent manipulation by oracle operators, developers, users, miners, or block builders. Current VRF v2.5 supports subscription and direct-funding request methods across multiple blockchain networks.
