Coinsquare is a regulated centralized cryptocurrency exchange operated in Canada. The platform supports buying, selling, and trading of digital assets through a standard interface and an advanced mode with live order books, depth charts, and configurable order types. Proof-of-stake assets held on the platform can be staked to earn periodic rewards. A programmatic API allows approved clients to access market data and submit orders. Client cash accounts are insured by the Canadian Investor Protection Fund (CIPF) up to $1 million CAD per account, and digital assets are held in cold storage with licensed external custodians including Coinbase Custody and BitGo Trust Company.
