Description
Core Chain is an EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain using Satoshi Plus consensus, which integrates Delegated Proof of Work from Bitcoin miners, Delegated Proof of Stake from CORE token holders, and self-custodial Bitcoin staking via Bitcoin's native CLTV timelock opcode. Validators are elected each round based on a hybrid score across all three delegation sources. The network produces blocks with sub-cent gas fees and supports Solidity smart contracts, DeFi protocols, NFTs, and cross-chain bridges.
