Cronos EVM Chain is an EVM-compatible L1 blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK. It enables Ethereum-based dApps and smart contracts to operate with low transaction fees and fast finality while connecting to the Cosmos ecosystem through IBC. The chain runs in parallel to the Cronos PoS Chain and uses CRO as its native gas token.
