CT Clear is ClearToken’s digital-asset clearing service, intended to operate as a CCP that becomes the legal counterparty to cleared trades through novation. It is designed to reduce bilateral credit exposure and improve capital efficiency through portfolio margining, multilateral netting, centralised risk management, and default procedures. Subject to regulatory approvals, ClearToken intends initially to clear perpetual futures, deliverable and non-deliverable forwards, term futures, and repo, with options planned in a later phase; the service is intended to integrate with CT Settle for 24/7 delivery-versus-payment net settlement.
