Datonic aims to bring Open Data to the level of Open Source by helping communities collaborate on tabular data using open-source software, open protocols, and public infrastructure. Its Datadex project is an open-source, serverless, local-first data platform pattern that connects existing tools and supports reproducible, versioned datasets, declarative transformations, public data formats, and permissionless contributions.
