Description
EverMigrate is a platform that automates the exchange of old tokens for new ones as part of a smart contract upgrade, wrapping the entire process into a single on-chain transaction. It is designed for DeFi projects undergoing protocol upgrades, mergers/acquisitions, supply consolidations, or transitions from a renounced contract to a new non-renounced one, removing the need for manual calculations or airdrops (which can be insecure and costly). Projects use EverMigrate to set a fixed conversion ratio and, optionally, a maximum token disbursement limit, and can use the collected old tokens to retrieve locked liquidity and move it to the new contract. Individual token holders use the dApp to securely swap their old tokens for the upgraded ones, with gas costs borne by the user rather than the project, and with assurance that they receive the correct new token without delay.
