Description
EverWallet is a project by EverRise designed to add an additional layer of security to a user's existing crypto wallet by securing holdings directly on the blockchain rather than relying solely on a hardware or software wallet. It acts as a complementary wallet to services like MetaMask and Trust Wallet, storing tokens in a secure vault smart contract on-chain so that even if a user's device is lost or stolen, only the user retains access to their tokens. EverWallet does not require or have access to a user's seed phrase or private key, and is designed to act as a 'firewall' against dusting attacks by hiding unknown tokens sent to a wallet by default. Because it is implemented as a decentralized smart contract rather than residing on a private server, it cannot be removed or erased, and the user's existing wallet acts as a key to access it. It will also support a secondary/backup wallet access feature in case a user loses their private keys. As of the site content, EverWallet is still in development and its exact feature set is being finalized.
