The Interledger Foundation is a nonprofit focused on digital financial inclusion and equitable access to interoperable financial systems. It stewards the open Interledger standards and protocols, including the Interledger Protocol and Open Payments, which enable payments to move across currencies, payment networks, and account types. ILF works with entrepreneurs, organizations, governments, financial service providers, and communities through policy advocacy, grant-making, education, and ecosystem programs, with a focus on underserved populations, remittance users, small businesses, creators, and fintech providers.
