Description
Italy Mining Farms was a Northern Italy infrastructure project developed and operated by ALPS between 2019 and 2022. It comprised over 20 small, modular facilities integrated directly into existing micro-hydroelectric plants, using clean, reliable, underutilised hydroelectric energy. The network reached more than 5 MW of installed capacity and served as a proof of concept for ALPS’s design-to-build-to-operate model.
