Description
League of Identity (LoI) is an IBE/IBS system and tooling that uses existing identity providers to issue cryptographic tokens linked to identities such as Gmail or Facebook accounts, phone numbers, digital identity cards, and Ethereum accounts. Tokens can sign blockchain messages or transactions and decrypt secret messages. Its proposed anonymous identity-based Web3 payments application lets users send crypto assets to non-crypto recipients without prior communication or registration, with paymasters intended to let recipients forward assets without creating a Web3 wallet. A proof of concept exists on Ethereum testnet, and the project states it is working on a public testnet.
