Mangrove DEX is an order book-based decentralized exchange that lists promises rather than locked commitments. Makers populate its order book with smart offers, attaching contracts that set sourcing and trade parameters while liquidity remains usable elsewhere until an offer is taken. Takers use market orders, limit orders, or offer sniping, while keeper bots detect and cancel failed offers for bounties. The exchange is permissionless and non-custodial, and supports liquidity-provider strategies such as defensive code, unprovisioned offers, and redisplaying liquidity after trades.
