Merk is a Rust-based authenticated key/value store designed primarily for blockchain state storage but also usable wherever auditable data storage is required. It provides batch-optimized reads and writes, efficient range proofs, concurrent operations, state replication, disk checkpoints, and WebAssembly-compatible proof verification.
