Open Web Academy (OWA) is a community of technology enthusiasts and builders dedicated to promoting a free, inclusive, and open web. Originating in Latin America, OWA focuses on educating and training individuals in decentralized technologies through an educational platform built on Open edX. They offer bootcamps and certifications, such as an advanced program on the NEAR blockchain in partnership with NEAR DevHub, complete with live lessons and NFT certificates. OWA actively fosters innovation by organizing virtual and in-person events, including meetups, workshops with universities, and hackathons like the 'Frutal Web House' for Ethereum Mexico 2024.
