Palau Invest is a digital savings-bond system launched by the Government of Palau in collaboration with Soramitsu and supported by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry. Its public demonstration phase lets Palauan citizens learn about the system before issuance criteria are finalized; once bonds are issued, citizens are intended to buy them through a mobile app. The system runs on SORA v3 Hub Chain’s Hyperledger Iroha 2-based network, with proceeds intended for domestic development such as infrastructure, housing, SME development, roads, and public services.
