It anchors hashes and references—not private customer data—for x402 API and Commerce receipts, delivery proofs, settlement-batch Merkle roots, dispute-evidence timelines, reputation signals, and agent spending-policy references. Stablecoins settle payments while PayAccept’s Trust Layer handles receipts, compliance, policy, and reconciliation; PayChain provides verifiable evidence for dashboards, webhooks, partners, and disputes.
