Make Change Possible e.V., or MCP, is a charitable NGO supporting educational and sustainability programmes in the Mayana community of Namibia, where residents lack access to clean water or electricity and are subsistence farmers heavily affected by climate-related droughts, with 70% of students in the Kavango East Region failing out of school. MCP works year-round with a local team in Mayana, running projects and programmes aimed at improving education, nutrition, health, and business development, with the goal of fostering sustainability and independence for the community. The organization also provides opportunities for volunteers and partners to engage through joining projects, trips, internships, research, events, shopping to support, donations, and sponsorships, and it partners with schools, fostering world citizenship and cross-cultural exchange at the grassroots level.
