Play4Change describes itself as a decentralized organization building the future of work in web3, leveraging blockchain to bring financial inclusion to underrepresented communities. It coordinates remotely and globally to create lasting positive social change, using blockchain games, NFTs, and tokens to incentivize learning and generate income for participants. The organization runs three main initiatives: NFT games that let community members become professional players, metaverse creators, or game builders; free web3 and crypto education paired with connections to job opportunities and web3 events; and support for NFT creators from favelas, helping them mint and sell NFTs globally with proceeds split between NGOs and the artists. It also opened the Play4change Amazon Tech House in the Paiter Suruí village in Rondônia, Brazil, as a collaborative hub, and operates the Play4change Foundation, which accepts ETH, USDC, and BTC donations to fund its social impact work.
