Completed climate-resilience project in Benue State providing smallholder farmers with parametric weather insurance, AI-driven weather insights, and sustainable farming training.
Project RAIN 1.0 was a Riwe Technologies climate-resilience initiative implemented with AGRA in Agasha, Benue State, from August 2024 to March 2025. It provided smallholder farmers with satellite- and AI-enabled parametric weather insurance that automatically triggered payouts for floods or droughts, along with location-specific climate insights and sustainable-farming training in local dialects.
