Description

Project RAIN - V2 with UNDP is an in-progress RAIN (Resilience through Affordable and Inclusive Weather Insurance) programme in Benue State and Kaduna, in Nigeria's Middle Belt and Northern region. It delivers parametric climate insurance, real-time weather alerts, and paperwork-free input loans for smallholder farmers through a unified platform that works on basic mobile phones without internet access. The project is funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and co-financed by Stellar Development Foundation and Food Futures Africa.
