Puffer Preconf is a permissionless, neutral preconfirmation protocol for Layer 2 rollups. Ethereum validators delegate to gateways that provide cryptographically backed execution preconfirmations using a lookahead mechanism and restaked ETH economic security. It supports revenue sharing for rollup operators and validators, user refund protections, and validator participation through EigenPods and Commit-Boost software.
