Description
SagaOS™ is described on its dedicated PraSaga page as a first-class, object-oriented operating system designed and developed specifically to power everything about SagaChain™. Its core operation is to maintain the network node, store objects, process transactions, and act as a connector between the chain and applications running on it, using mechanisms the page states set it apart from other layer-one blockchains. Security combines a fully decentralized distributed ledger with a hybrid PoW/PoS consensus model, military-grade object data encryption, and optional special enclaves. SagaOS™ also introduces Smart Assets™, stored on-chain, enabling object methods for complex data and account interactions that address limitations of traditional smart contracts. Application development is done via SagaPython™, a modified version of Python. SagaCoin™ is the utility token that fuels transactions and sustains the network. As of the page's content, the project is in an alpha code stage (publicly released alpha code running on a standard database) with a TestNet planned, and it targets blockchain application developers, enterprises, and node operators.
