The Schulungssystem und Zertifikatsmanagement is one of VariusSystems' online software modules for managing employee training and certifications. It is built on a central contact database of employee master data that administrators can view, edit, and extend via a backend. For each employee, individual training or seminar requirements and their renewal intervals can be configured, allowing administrators, HR, and employees to track completed and outstanding trainings, including externally attended trainings entered manually. Employees use NFC chip cards or self-printed QR code cards to check in at trainings (including multi-day events up to three days), and the system only marks a training complete if attendance is confirmed on all days. Administrators can set reminders for training renewals (which stop once an employee leaves the company), store PDF certificates per employee for quick verification of qualifications, create dedicated landing pages for each training with registration limits or cutoffs, and view live statistics on which employees attended which trainings, completion status, and monthly demand trends. Employees can scan their own card with a phone to see a personal view of completed, outstanding, and optional trainings along with event details like location and time. The system is platform-independent (works with any existing hardware/software) and is billed as a fixed annual fee regardless of the number of trainings, employees, or participants. It can optionally be combined with VariusSystems' Zutrittssystem (access control) and Zeiterfassungssystem/Mitarbeiterverwaltung (employee management and time tracking) modules to combine training, work time, and access permissions in a single card and database, serving businesses that need to manage recurring mandatory or optional staff training and certification compliance.
