Spacemesh developed a layer-1 blockchain using a race-free Proof of Space-Time consensus protocol and the SMH cryptocurrency, together with full-node, wallet, mining, API, and explorer software. The operating company ceased operations in April 2025 and its former website is unavailable, although the independently useful open-source network and repositories continue and remain represented by the Spacemesh Project.
