Syklo provides a peer-to-peer marketplace for exchanging local currencies such as pesos and bolívares for USDC, and vice versa, without requiring foreign bank accounts. Users can pay through existing services including Zinli, Nequi, Mercado Pago, Zelle, and other local payment methods. Its matching engine connects counterparties, while smart-contract escrow on Stellar protects transactions until both parties confirm completion. User balances remain in non-custodial Stellar accounts, and Syklo also supports sending digital dollars to other accounts. A savings-yield feature is described as forthcoming and is not currently available.
