Thala is a comprehensive decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol, or "HyperApp," built on the Aptos blockchain, designed to serve as a primary liquidity engine for the Move ecosystem. The protocol is structured around three core modules: Thala Swap, an advanced Automated Market Maker (AMM) supporting various pool types like stable, weighted, and liquidity bootstrapping pools (LBPs); Move Dollar (MOD), an over-collateralized, yield-bearing stablecoin backed by a diverse basket of on-chain assets; and a Liquid Staking Token (LST) solution for Aptos (APT) that uses a two-token model (thAPT and sthAPT) to offer enhanced yields.
