Description
The Frontline Fellowship for Creative Nonfiction supports Chinese-language nonfiction writers and journalists, including academics and non-professional journalists whose proposed work is for a broad public audience. It provides awards of up to US$7,000, one-to-one mentorship, workshops, editorial support, and publication assistance for long-form projects grounded in original research and in-depth interviews. Jointly funded by Matters and the Renaissance Foundation (RFHK) in 2021, it extended support to translation in 2024 through the Non-Fiction Translation Fellowship in collaboration with Duke Story Lab at Duke University.Technology & Skills
