The Slipstream is building decentralized software infrastructure designed to coordinate people, projects, knowledge, and resources around principles of cooperation, compassion, abundance, and safety. Its architecture uses the Proteus language to represent the meaning of information and support natural-language interaction, knowledge storage, reasoning, protocol interoperability, authentication, privacy distinctions, and peer review. The project is currently testing and debugging its system, preparing sample models, porting software, and developing instructional materials. Planned applications include personalized medicine, scientific experimentation, legal-system modeling, mutual-aid projects, and broader automation. Accounts and broader public functionality are not yet available, with participation currently directed through contact with the project.
