Vela is a confidential coprocessor for open blockchain markets. It runs applications in hardware-isolated trusted execution environments, generating cryptographic attestations and encrypted state roots so assets, orders, client data, strategies, and execution logic remain private, including from Vela’s operators. It offers opt-in compliance primitives such as MiCA and Travel Rule verification, and is designed for chain-agnostic integration with liquidity venues, DeFi protocols, and cross-chain settlement.
