Voltage Payments is a Lightning Network payments API for businesses to send and receive Bitcoin and USD with near-instant settlement. The API provides endpoints for wallet management, payment initiation, BTC-to-USD quote locking, and real-time transaction tracking with webhook support. Businesses choose between two operating models: a credit-backed model where transactions settle at the end of a billing cycle without pre-funding, and a node model where clients operate cloud-hosted Lightning nodes with direct fund control. Includes a developer sandbox on MutinyNet for testing before production.
