WaterLAB is a Wyoming-registered entity formerly known as WaterDAO, autonomously managed by smart contracts and token governance. Its platform creates a voluntary water market based on standardized water credits representing the beneficial attributes of fresh water production. Water credits can be retired for stewardship or offsets, redeemed for contracted physical water, or held and resold as a financial instrument. WaterLAB also facilitates water production verification, funds water innovation through ARPA-W, and supports projects such as sustainable desalination and water infrastructure.
