Description
xERC20 is a crosschain-native token standard supported by multiple protocols to address the liquidity fragmentation, fungibility, and issuer-control issues of bridged ERC-20 tokens. It enables any number of trusted bridges to mint and burn a single token across chains, so users receive the same asset regardless of bridge. Token issuers retain control of token contracts on every chain and can select trusted bridges and set their exposure according to risk tolerance.
