youves is a decentralised, non-custodial, and self-governed platform built on the Tezos blockchain for the creation and management of synthetic assets. Users, known as 'minters', can create new synthetic assets (tracker tokens) by locking eligible collateral in a vault, allowing them to borrow against their crypto at low rates while continuing to earn baking rewards. These tracker tokens can be used to increase exposure to other cryptocurrencies or to diversify holdings. The platform features a swap mechanism for highly correlated asset pairs with low slippage, farms for liquidity provision, and savings pools for earning passive income. The platform operates as a Decentralised Autonomous Organisation (DAO), governed by its community through the YOU governance token. YOU token holders can vote on the platform's development and stake their tokens in a bail-out fund to help manage risk in exchange for rewards from platform fees.
