Bold Technologies, Inc. presented Bold as a financial technology platform for bitcoin holders, offering an FDIC-insured partner-bank checking account, bitcoin brokerage and wallet services, a virtual Visa debit card with bitcoin rewards, and the Bold Vault. Bold Vault used a 2-of-3 multisignature model in which customers held two keys and Bold held one backup key. The supplied sign-up and login pages state that the service will be back and direct former customers to sFOX to access assets.
