Description

Bold Vault is Bold’s non-custodial Bitcoin multisig cold-storage product. Users create a 2-of-3 vault with two hardware-wallet keys and Bold’s backup key; Bold cannot move funds alone, but can co-sign at the user’s request if one user key is unavailable. It supports hardware wallets including Trezor, Ledger, and Coldcard, and users can independently access funds with their two keys, open-source software, and a sovereign backup file. The product has no monthly fee and charges $10 when Bold co-signs a withdrawal.

Bold Checking Account is a fiat checking product offered through Bold’s partner bank. It provides a personal account and routing number, direct deposit, pass-through FDIC insurance subject to applicable conditions, bill and person-to-person payments, ACH and domestic wire transfers, and a virtual Visa debit card. It is designed for bitcoin users, including dollar/bitcoin conversion and access to an insured bitcoin wallet; some automatic conversion and transfer features are stated as coming in summer 2025.

Description

Bold Card is Bold’s virtual debit card, funded from a user’s Bold Checking Account and accepted wherever virtual Visa cards are accepted. Users can nickname the card, add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, earn rewards based on bitcoin stacked on Bold, and freeze or unfreeze it. The documentation states that users pay no annual fee.
