Bold Vault is Bold’s non-custodial Bitcoin multisig cold-storage product. Users create a 2-of-3 vault with two hardware-wallet keys and Bold’s backup key; Bold cannot move funds alone, but can co-sign at the user’s request if one user key is unavailable. It supports hardware wallets including Trezor, Ledger, and Coldcard, and users can independently access funds with their two keys, open-source software, and a sovereign backup file.
