Dynamic (DYN) is the public blockchain underpinning Duality Blockchain Solutions' technology. It operates as an open, highly redundant and available API framework used to audit, verify, and request access to sidechains, and runs incentivized Dynodes—the second tier of nodes on the network responsible for processing, verifying, validating and storing data. The network uses Argon2d as its PoW mining algorithm with the Digishield V3 difficulty algorithm, a 128 second target block spacing, and rewards controlled via the Fluid Protocol. BDAP (Blockchain Directory Access Protocol) is a component of the Duality platform that provides a decentralized mechanism for resource hierarchy management, data sharing, and data storage, adding a layer of resource hierarchy and a distributed database with account linking to the Dynamic blockchain and its sidechains. Using Duality's Platform as a Service (PAAS), businesses can leverage decentralized computing services to secure and protect electronic data and automate business transaction workflows for the purchase and sale of goods and services via blockchain distributed ledger technology. BDAP's hybrid public-private blockchain design allows both anonymous and identified (permissionless and permissioned) nodes to connect and share data privately and securely without a third-party intermediary. The Fluid Protocol is a named, trademarked mechanism (Fluid Protocol™) developed by Duality Blockchain Solutions to change the consensus rules of its Dynamic blockchain without requiring users to upgrade software or interrupting network operation. It enables self-regulation of the network, including adjusting reward amounts for Dynode holders and miners, and responding to arbitration or attack scenarios. Technically, changes require three of five Sovereign keys to authorize a modification.
