Description

Notabene Transact is a pre-transaction compliance platform for VASPs and financial institutions. It automates FATF Travel Rule requirements by screening counterparties, performing VASP due diligence, executing risk-based transaction authorization, and exchanging encrypted customer PII across multiple Travel Rule messaging protocols. SafePII provides end-to-end escrowed encryption of PII during cross-VASP data transfers. SafeConnect delivers embeddable UI components for self-hosted wallet ownership verification. SafeGateway enables interoperability across Travel Rule protocols including TRISA, TRP, OpenVASP, and Sygna Bridge. The platform uses DID-based identity, W3C Verifiable Credentials, and configurable multi-jurisdictional compliance rules.

Description

Notabene Flow is a stablecoin payment infrastructure network for wallets, issuers, fintechs, and payment service providers. It enables pull payments (merchant-initiated payment requests and invoices), push payments (sender-initiated disbursements and payouts), and recurring billing cycles for B2B commerce. Built on the Transaction Authorization Protocol (TAP), it coordinates identity verification, Travel Rule compliance, and settlement authorization across payment agents before transactions settle on-chain. Participants integrate as Payment Initiating Agents, Payment Responding Agents, or Infrastructure Providers through RESTful APIs. The network operates as a coordination and authorization layer and does not hold funds or act as a custodian.

TAP (Transaction Authorization Protocol)

Project Links

Description

Transaction Authorization Protocol (TAP) is an open-source, blockchain-agnostic protocol for coordinating payment authorization before on-chain settlement. It defines how counterparties exchange signed Transfer Requests and communicate through encrypted DIDComm messaging to verify identities, enforce compliance policies, and authorize transactions before funds move. Participants—parties, agents, and infrastructure systems—interact through the protocol layer across any wallet, exchange, or smart contract. TAP evolves through community-governed Transaction Authorization Improvement Proposals (TAIPs) on GitHub and is not controlled by any single company.
