PayChain

Description

PayChain is a forthcoming on-chain proof and settlement-commitment layer in the PayAccept stack, not a new blockchain or L1. It anchors hashes and references—not private customer data—for x402 API and Commerce receipts, delivery proofs, settlement-batch Merkle roots, dispute-evidence timelines, reputation signals, and agent spending-policy references. Stablecoins settle payments while PayAccept’s Trust Layer handles receipts, compliance, policy, and reconciliation; PayChain provides verifiable evidence for dashboards, webhooks, partners, and disputes.

PAYT

Description

PAYT is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum mainnet with a maximum supply of 45 million PAYT. It is an optional utility token for the PayAccept trust layer, supporting developer and merchant fee discounts, staking and security bonding, developer, merchant, and agent-commerce rewards, limited governance and partner incentives, and, when active, PayChain-related fees and paymaster credits. Stablecoins remain the payment currency; PAYT is neither required to accept payments nor a checkout currency, investment product, equity, revenue share, or guaranteed-yield product.

Its Trust Layer signs offers to lock price, tax, and shipping before payment, with receipts and delivery proof supporting disputes and reconciliation.
