Its EVM compatibility simplifies integration into existing dApps and the creation of new ones, supported by developer tools like oracles and indexers. The network and its native bridge, the PowPeg, are secured by Bitcoin's proof-of-work (PoW), ensuring 100% uptime since its 2018 launch.
