TACo is a general-purpose access control plugin from Threshold Network that works without trusting an intermediary. Threshold Network is a decentralized network providing cryptographic services for Web3 applications, most notably tBTC, a permissionless bridge that brings Bitcoin to DeFi ecosystems on Ethereum and other blockchains.

Description
After 5 years of R&D, we recently launched the world's first decentralized, general-purpose end-to-end encryption API and network. To oversimplify a little, imagine integrating Signal's end-to-end encryption functionality into any app, but compatible with all kinds of data, sharing patterns, and conditions for access. Like Tor, the network of independent nodes running TACo software (120 and counting) is pseudonymous and censorship-resistant – without any centralized servers, it’s almost impossible to shut TACo down.Chains:
