Neopets Metaverse

Neopets Metaverse was an alternate-universe, modernised 3D remake of the classic Neopets browser game, offering features such as NeoHome customization, a competitive Battledome, a library of mini-games, pet care and customisation, and a National Neopian Bank exploring gamified financial mechanics. The project ran invite-only alpha tests (including a Winter Edition) and issued NFT collectibles (the Genesis Collection, Pizzaroo's Unique Pizzas, and Masterpiece Collection) that were tradable on marketplaces like Magic Eden, Solanart, Fractal, and Solsea, with a bridge to swap Solana-based Neocollectibles to Polygon. Its clients/community were primarily existing Neopets fans and Web3/NFT collectors. In 2026, the Neopets team announced it was transitioning away from the Neopets Metaverse game, reallocating resources to a new game direction, while continuing to support Web3 holders of the existing NFT collections.
