Plebbit is a serverless, adminless, decentralized, peer-to-peer social media platform built on a public-key-based addressing system and peer-to-peer pubsub network. Users interact through communities called subplebbits, which are created and managed by individual users rather than global administrators. Plebbit is open source and supports independently developed clients. Its ecosystem includes web clients such as Plebchan, Seedit, and Plebones, as well as a governance token called PLEB that supports DAO participation and optional community features.
